Steve and Nikita met in eighth grade and have been best friends ever since. Through years of leaning on one another, their bond grew from friendship into family. One day, you’ll find them living in adjoining mansions with a super secret underground tunnel connecting the two, just like they always dreamed of.

Scarlet, Ashley and Nikita met in Alabama when they surprisingly showed up at Scarlet's house. Although hesitant at first, Scarlet snuggled up to them in the car and they drove 14 hours back to Delaware. They have all been the best of friends and family ever since. The years have been filled with lots of fun, love and awwoooos. Their favorite things to do together are walks in the neighborhood, trips to the dog park, eating treats, getting pets and playing tug of war. Scarlet can not wait for her pawrents to get married and celebrate their love.

Nikita has always been a pleasure to be around and he's integrated himself into the family with respect and grace. He's a heck of a chef and Gary's children (along with the adults) always get excited when he makes his signature guacamole. Gary is confident Nikita and Ashley will build a strong and loving family together. Nikita has even brought some new traditions into Gary's home, where he now does nightly affirmations with his girls at bed time after Nikita first introduced the concept to him. Gary expects nothing but good things for Ashley and Nikita in the future.

Nikita introduced Kristina to Ashley when they first started dating. Kristina instantly liked Ashley, with her sweet and funny personality. Kristina loves and appreciates all of the fun activities and excursions that Ashley plans for both of their families and the way she has the ability to bring people together in creative ways. Kristina is so grateful that her brother picked such a beyond, amazing wife. Although Ashley already is like a sister to Kristina, she is so happy to finally and officially have the sister she never had.

Shane first met Nikita around the Christmas Holiday in 2019. He noticed Nikita’s tremendous effort to make everyone feel comfortable during the family events and ensure that he was helpful in some way. Shane thought, maybe this one has a shot. As Ashley’s brothers can be pretty tough critics of people who speak to their sister. He’s happy to see how Nikita proved him right. Nikita made it to the big show. Congrats bro.

Ashley and Erica’s journey began all the way back in elementary school. And as much as they’ve both changed over the years, they’ve managed to be best friends through it all! Some highlights of their friendship so far include: countless sleepovers, their infamous playground photoshoot, their own special language (blarp, mercular, etc), trips to the lake and visiting Spain together. Some low points include: Ashley almost having to report Erica as a missing person in Spain... Erica cannot wait to be by Ashley’s side on this day that they’ve been dreaming of since they were little girls!

Cody and Nikita met for the first time in college. Cody did not know at the time that he was meeting his future brother in law. They shared a handful of classes together and Cody always thought of Nikita as a stand up guy who took his studies seriously. One day Ashley asked Cody out of the blue if he knew someone from his college named Nikita? Cody responded, “I know two Nikita’s at school so which one?” Since then Cody has had many more opportunities to get to know Nikita. To Cody it has been a pleasure to spend time with Nikita and is glad to have him as a part of the family.

Who knew a job interview could lead to the friendship of a lifetime. Ashley and Jeannette (or Janet as Ashley likes to call her) met Freshman year after interviewing for jobs as RAs at the University of Delaware. Janet waited for Ashley as they were making their way home. From that moment on they were inseparable. For years to come where you saw one of them there was a 99% chance you saw the other. They were 2 peas in a pod or as Janet likes to say, 2 halves of a whole idiot. Together they have shared countless laughs, tears, and created unforgettable memories. Ashley has been and continues to be such a light in the lives of everyone she meets and Jeannette is so proud to call Ashley her best friend and to stand by her side as she marries the love of her life.

Nikita and Ian met through the best man, Steve Cramer. Over the years their friendship developed into a brotherhood through their shared love of the finer things in life. Whether it’s Cape May golf cart trips, catering private parties hosted by the Wu-Tang Clan, or Napa valley, they find a way to make the stuffiest rooms a bit rowdier. Rumor has it that in ten years these two will be opening their own Chateau de Carwashé.

Tatjiana and Ashley have been friends since the third grade. Much has changed over their eighteen years of friendship, including attending different schools and living in different states, but nothing has changed the fact that they are still best friends. From playing barbie dolls and checkers to celebrating each other’s engagements, these girls have done it all together and Tatjiana can’t wait to be by Ashley’s side as she takes on this exciting next chapter in her life.

Nikita has been a second brother to Andrew for over 15 years now. He is both a mentor and long-time friend, and has always been there for Andrew whether that was to share honest advice or hand him his first beer. Andrew could not be more exited for Nikita and Ashley!

Heather and Ashley have known each other since kindergarten and have been best friends since the fourth grade. Through school, field hockey, and theater, they became inseparable. Although Heather currently lives all the way across the country in Austin, TX, their friendship has only grown stronger as they continue to do life together. Heather’s claim to fame in regards to the happy couple is that she was with Ashley at Oh Bryon's the night she met her future husband.

Julion and Nikita met during hockey pre-season, Julion's freshman year of college. The two quickly realized just how like-minded they were. Between getting on the ice at 6am, living next to each other, carpooling to practice, and their occasional trips to Naked Brewing Company their relationship quickly transformed from teammates to lifelong friends. Julion is honored to stand next to Nikita as one of his groomsmen on his big day.

Ashley and Myrta grew up going to the same school but one grade apart. Since they didn’t hangout much during the year because of their age they would reconnect during the summers at the Huntingdon Valley Country Club. They would run around and play card games with Myrta's twin sister and Ashley's brother, Cody. Their friendship really took off in early high school during softball season. Ashely and Myrta played multiple sports together including, field hockey, basketball and softball. Ashley is someone who makes Myrta feel special for being her and inspires her to embrace that. Ashley was and still is determined, strong willed and out spoken. Myrta is so happy to have Ashley in her life and to be apart of her special day!

Chris and Nikita (aka the connoisseur, aka coach, aka biz partner) met back in early 2020. What started out as a chemical sales pitch, quickly turned into a friendship. When Nikita isn’t pitching Chris a new business idea they find themselves talking shop or talking shit on the competition. Their shared interests, values, and sense of humor just clicked. Nikita and Chris have become good friends and Chris is honored to be one of his groomsmen on this big day

Emily and Ashley’s friendship began when they were tour guides at the University of Delaware. They met during their sophomore year after Ashley unexpectedly broke down crying in front of Emily. A year and a half later, Emily and Ashley became coordinators of that very same program and from that point on an incredible friendship was born! Throughout the years, Ashley has remained one of Emily’s biggest cheerleaders, closest confidants, and brightest rays of sunshine. On any given day, you can find them together drinking wine, wearing their Lilly Pulitzer, browsing Homegoods or eating sushi, just to further prove that they are indeed almost EXACTLY the same person.

Hunter and Nikita met when they were in 7th or 8th grade- basically, it’s been a while. In that time Nikita has become one of Hunter's closest and most beloved friends. Some of their most memorable, shared experiences include middle-school choir, scenic nature walks in the Pennypack, and Nikita’s shocking admission that basketball is better than hockey.

The first time Sierra met Ashley was when they (Heather Schauder, Ashley, Sierra and Sierra's now husband went to Peddlers Village during the fall season. Unlike Ashley who, as anyone can attest, is an open and charismatic person, Sierra did not have Ashley’s confidence. Sierra was more reserved, as well as coming from a different high school and she didn't know anyone. But despite it all, Ashley wouldn’t give up on her. Sierra ended up transferring to Ashley’s high school and quickly they became best friends. Every opportunity Ashley had, she would reach out to Sierra, helping her with the transition. Sierra wouldn’t be who she is today without her. Ashley is a model of what pure joy and hard work can accomplish and Sierra couldn’t be more proud to be a bridesmaid in her wedding.

Larry and Nikita first met in eighth grade when Nikita attended Friends Select School. Very quickly the two became great friends and instantly hit it off. They continued to stay close throughout high school and college, despite living in different states throughout the years and going to different schools. Nikita is like a brother to Larry and their friendship will always continue to remain strong.

Lauren met Ashley their first day of sophomore year of college. They lived on the same floor and were both wandering the hallway looking for the trash shoot. Quickly after this the two became the closest of friends! From late nights out, to wine nights in watching Greys Anatomy and eating chipotle, the pair always had an amazing time when they were together. Ashley would often pick Lauren up when they both went to their hometowns for the weekend and drive back to UD together. This is just one of many examples of the kind and selfless person that Ashley is, always willing to go the extra mile for people. Lauren always greatly appreciated those early morning rides together. After college, Lauren and Ashley continued their friendship and have supported each other navigating adulthood. Lauren is honored to be by Ashley’s side for this monumental occasion and wishes her and Nikita a lifetime of love and happiness.

Adam and Ashley have been friends for just over 5 years now. They grew up down the street from one another, but met through mutual friends while in college and quickly became close. Adam has seen Ashley reach many milestones throughout these years, with finding her soulmate being the most important. Adam could not be happier for these two, to celebrate their love for one another, and to be a part of their special day.

Ashley & Meagan met their third year of college as tour guides at UD. They served together on the leadership team in their fourth year, a time that turned them from coworkers to true friends. Following graduation, the years were full of cork bars, taco nights and sunflower fields. Even after Meagan moved over 350 miles away, there’s no place she’d rather be than by Ashley’s side on her special day.
